MARJORIE LENORE PETERS (nee LUCAS) July 12, 1914 to July 23, 2002 Marge passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at the age of 88 years. Mom enjoyed her last four years in a nursing home in Dundas and kept the night staff company being the night owl she was. She considered them her second family and up until a couple of months ago when she was placed in a wheel chair enjoyed the outings and activities of the home. Mom loved to whistle and she can still be heard whistling to the tune "Harbour Lights". She was predeceased by her husband Harry on December 24, 1983. She will be missed by her children, Wayne Peters of Surrey, BC, Reg Peters of London, ON, Carole Gibb of Winnipeg, Marjorie Hagen of Dundas, ON, Rena Almquist of Thunder Bay, ON, and Bill Brown of Ontario; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment will take place in London, ON beside her beloved husband Harry. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26 in London, ON. Turtney Evans Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements 1-519-451-9350. A luncheon will be served immediately after the service. Service concludes at the chapel.
