Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE HRABB-STANKO Born in Elma, MB April 17, 1924, Rose died at the West Vancouver Care Center on July 22, 2002 at the age of 78. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, daughter Gail Bouskill, husband David and granddaughter Chloe of West Vancouver; grandson Robert Lang and wife Georgette of Winnipeg, MB; granddaughter Kyle Pelletier, husband Dan, great-grandsons, Nathan and Matthew Pelletier of North Vancouver. She is also survived by a sister Sophie Aune and husband Dempsey of Winnipeg; sister Mary Hrabb of Toronto, ON; brother John Hrabb of Downsview, ON; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant daughter Sonia; husband John Stanko; parents, Julia Hrabb and Steve Hrabb; sisters, Kay Hrabb, Nellie Pochinko, Nettie Longe; brothers, Peter Hrabb and Fred Hrabb. A memorial service will be held in Roses honour at St. Davids United Church, 1525 Taylor Way, West Vancouver, BC, on Saturday, July 27 at 3:00 p.m. The Reverend Dan Chambers will officiate. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to, may donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff at Lions Gate Hospital for their care and support. A very special thank you to the management, staff and residents of the West Vancouver Care Center who truly were wonderful to Rose and who made her last years so warm and full with their friendship.
