Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN MARK FRANKLIN It is with deep sadness and shock we announce the incredible loss of our father, John Mark Franklin, at the age of 51. He passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, July 26, 2002. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Verna (Matthew), Conrad (Priscilla), and Dirk (Charlene) his grandchildren, Evangeline, Sidney, Domnic, Spike, Dakota, Deivon, Julia, Gage and Maya; three sisters, Myrtle (Colin) Murdock, Violet (Phillip) Bruce, Louella (Oliver) Cochrane; one brother Russell (Jean) Franklin; one stepson Kevin; two stepdaughters, Yolanda and Venessa. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Prayers and wake services will be held on Tuesday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31 at 11:00 a.m., also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Baxter, Allison Franklin, Charles Franklin, and Edward Stagg. The family would like to thank the Health Sciences Centre Dialysis Unit, Emergency doctors and nurses and Southeast Transportation for all their care shown to John.
