Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANN HONKE (nee CHERNICHAN) Suddenly on Monday, July 29, 2002, Ann passed away at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by her father and mother; brother Paul Chernichan; daughter Diane Klippenstein; and husbands, William and Fred. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeanette Chernichan, Bob (Rolande) Chernichan, Julie (Don) Elyk, Richard Chernichan; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; brother Peter (Alice) Chernichan; sister Olga (Jack) Meadows. Ann was born and raised in Dallas, MB where she farmed and then the family moved to Fisher Branch in 1962. She then moved to Winnipeg where she resided for 30 years. She was an avid crest artist employed at Harval. She took great pride in being self sufficient. She will be remembered for her beautifully decorated Easter eggs and crafts, her love of gardening, cooking and pickling wild berries and mushrooms. She was a loving wife, mother and friend and will be missed greatly. Special thanks to the medical staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, in particular Yolanda Depape. Graveside service will take place on Thursday, August 1, at 2:30 p.m. in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to charity of choice.
