PETER HENRY KLASSEN February 8, 1924 - August 1, 2002 Peacefully on August 1, 2002, Dad passed into eternal rest at the Selkirk and District General Hospital. Dad was predeceased by his beloved wife Doreen in 1978. His parents, Henry and Agatha; brothers, Henry, Martin, Jake, John, Dave; sisters, Helen, Agatha, Katie. Leaving to cherish his memory are his son Brian (Carol) his daughters, Dianne (Rob), Marlene (Chad), Verna (Ken), Lorraine (Fred), Irene. His grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, Andrew, Maria, Joseph; David Julie; Tracy (Kevin), Melissa; Michael, Michele, Melanie; Kevin (Andrea), Rhonda. His great-grandchildren, Kaden, Branden; Amber. His brothers, Abe, Ike, Dave, Frank; sisters, Anne, Mary; in-laws; nieces; nephews; and numerous friends. Dad was employed much of his life with Lach Landscaping until his retirement in 1989. His greatest love was spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors...especially fishing. Viewing will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on August 6, followed by the celebration of the funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 269 Jemima St., Selkirk, Mb. Fr. Art Seaman officiating. Dads pallbearers and honorary pallbearers are all his precious grandchildren. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hussain and the wonderful and caring staff at S.D.G.H.
