Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES LLOYD ARNEL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Charles Lloyd Arnel who passed away on July 26, 2002. Lloyd was born on January 18, 1923 in Strathroy, ON where he resided until joining the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. While in the Air Force, Lloyd met anud married Emily Helen Garley of Winnipeg. After the war, Lloyd and Emily made their home in Winnipeg, raising four children. He was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railway for over 30 years and was a B & B foreman when he retired. Lloyd was an avid hnter and fisherman who also loved to golf and play bingo in his well-earned retirement. Never one to sit still, he was always out of the house first thing in the morning to have coffee with his buddies at the food court in Garden City Shopping Centre, then off to do a little shopping or simply driving around, enjoying himself. Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Emily; his father Walter Leslie; his mother Gladys Louella; his brother Harold Edward; and his sisters, Marjory Jean and Anna Eileen. Lloyd is survived by his brothers, Ken (Vera), Bill (Barb), Cliff (Adeline) and Fred (Ruth) his children, Dennis (Pat), George, Gayle (Harold), and Carol (Axell) his grandchildren, Mike, Shawn, Tracy, Dwight, Andrea, Jeff, Angela and Kenny; and his great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Josie for being a part of Lloyds life the last seven years. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
