CORNELIUS U. KORNELSEN Cornelius U. Kornelsen, aged 89 years, formerly of Rosenort, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Monday July 29, 2002 at the Poseidon Care Centre. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret in 1996. Left to mourn his passing are his children, Leo (Marilyn), Mary (Richard) Loeppky, Tina (Karl) Wagenaar, Menno (Hildie), Anne (Alvin) Wiens, Bert (Elma), Lydia (Carl) Wiens, Norma (Howard) Bettess, Liz (Gunar Ivans), Irma (Norman) Nadeau, and Tilly (Ken) Wiens; 30 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; three sisters and one brother. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 1 at the Pleasant Valley Evangelical Mennonite Church near Rosenort, with interment in the Rosenort Cemetery.
