Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK (JACOB) FRIESEN Jack (Jacob) Friesen, formerly of Winnipeg, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour July 27, 2002 at Wadena Hospital, at age 82. Besides his wife Christine, Jack is survived by his children, Harold, Winnipeg, Rudy (Deborah), Killarney, MB, and Lorena (Wayne) Sievewright, Victoria, BC; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, 12 stepgrandchildren, and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters and their families, and numerous relatives. He was predeceased by his first wife Betty (Elizabeth), grandson Jason Sievewright, stepson, parents and two brothers. Funeral service will be held at Fosston Elim Evangelical Free Church, Fosston, SK on Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 a.m.; Pastor Bill Dyck officiating. Interment, gravesite ceremony will follow on Friday, August 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB; Pastor Edward Hughs officiating. Donations in memory of Jack may be made to "Back to the Bible", Box 10, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2G2, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will reward to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8
