BEATRICE MARTHA SHALER (nee GRAHAM) August 13, 1938-July 31, 2002 Peacefully on July 31, 2002, our beloved mother and Granny Beatrice Bea Shaler passed away at home with her family by her side. Bea was born in Minnetonas, MB on August 13, 1938, the daughter of William and Harriet Graham. She married Graham L. Shaler in 1956. They made their home in St. Vital and eventually moved to country living in the Ste. Anne area in 1969. After the passing of her husband she carried on with his love for guns by continuing to put on the Steinbach and Dugald Gun Shows. Bea leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Sheryl and Sylvia Sally (Tim) Kwasnica; four grandchildren, Lorne Chopper (Tracy), Wesley Gauthrey, Crystal and Samantha Rosebud; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Riley and Lee-Ann; brothers, Arnold (Leonna) and Leslie (Diane) sister, Gloria; sisters-in-law, Eva and Ethel; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Graham; and brothers, Clarence and Doug. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy #1 East at Navin Road with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Garden of Devotion.
