TERRENCE DOUGLAS ROE October 22, 1947 - July 31, 2002 Died peacefully in Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC in the presence of his wife and children. Predeceased by his father Roy, Doug is survived by his devoted wife Alison; daughter Brianne; son Ryan; his brothers, Bob (Lori) and Ed (Liz) sisters, Marilyn (Don) and Irene (Bill) mother Sally; his wifes father and mother, Warren and Ingrid McWilliams; and siblings, Beth (Ron), Stephanie, Heather (Robert) and Scott (Alicia) in addition to the many members of his large and loving family, including his pal Rylie. Born in Winnipeg, Doug graduated from the University of Manitoba as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He practiced his profession in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia where he raised his family. Doug was an avid fisherman, golfer and outdoorsman. A great father, husband, brother and friend; an intelligent man with awesome strength, personality and a jolly sense of humour. He was much loved by his family and will be truly missed. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver, BC on Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow at Seymour Golf and Country Club, 3723 Mt. Seymour Parkway, North Vancouver at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in his honour would be much appreciated. Thank you to those in the medical profession who helped Doug over the years and to all friends and family who were incredibly supportive and caring. Doug, we hope you are enjoying riding your Harley, bad boy, and doing what you love! You will be missed!
