WILLIAM (BILL) MAKSIMCHUK Suddenly, at his residence, William passed away on July 31, 2002. William was predeceased by his wife Stella (July 9, 2000), father Fred (1951), mother Anne (1988) and brother Pete (1977), in-laws, Peter (1964) and Anne (1996). Bill was born on January 24, 1931 in Rembrandt, MB. Dad attended Rembrandt grade school. He began his working career in Winnipeg for Consolidated Bathurst as a forklift operator. Dads independence was evident as his lifelong dream was for cattle farming. Together, Mom and Dad, after five years of marriage, city life, and two little ones, decided to pursue their passion of cattle farming. They spent many hours together as a team providing a safe, secure home life for all to share in the abundance they had been granted. Humans and animals alike. Dad continued on farming even after moms passing. Together in heaven, may Mom and Dad enjoy their future farming endeavors. Bill is survived by daughters, Shelley and Rob Henn (Sierra, Savanna and Vanessa), Sheila and Jim Martin (Kyle and Stacey). Surviving are nieces and nephew, Gloria and Allan Sigurdson (Nicole and Derek), Larry Maksimchuk, Donna and Tony Bartecki (Desta and Brent). Brothers-in-law, Tony Baliant, Stan and Irene Baliant (Jennifer and Michele). Prayers were held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Arborg on Friday, August 2 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Church, Meleb, MB on Saturday, August 3 at 10:30 a.m., Deacon Harry Chuckry will officiate. Interment at the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery at Meleb. Pallbearers will be, Jim Martin, Rob Henn, Larry Maksimchuk, Mike Woychyshyn, Bill Chuckry, Allan Sigurdson.
