DORIS McLELLAN (nee MOTRIUK) Peacefully on Wednesday July 31, 2002, Doris McLellan, aged 86, passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. Doris was predeceased by her husband Donald; parents, Sylvester and Anna Motriuk; sister Daisey; brothers, James and Stanley. She will be remembered by her stepdaughter Judy Dungey and family of Richmond, ON; nephew Jim and wife Anne Motriuk of Winnipeg. Doris was a gracious friend to all that knew her and she will be missed. Doris was born in Winnipeg in 1916. Her lifelong job was Chief Telephone Operator at the Hudson Bay Company and after retirement she was very active in HBC Retirees Club. Doris enjoyed travel, musicals, especially with sister Daisey in later years. Doris won many awards for her needlepoint work and gave many hours to organizations that needed volunteers. She was a very positive and independent person till the end. We thank Dr. Jack Rusen and Dr. Peter Kirk for their care and compassion. The staff on 3 East at Riverview are the very best of professional caregivers. Thank you everyone. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 7 at Knox United Church, 400 Edmonton St., with Reverend David Murata officiating.
