Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOBBY) ARNOLD WATERMAN On the early morning of August 1, 2002 with his daughter Kim at his side, angels came and took our grandpa to a better place where there is no pain, strife or sorrow. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Lynne; children, Kim (Gerry) and her children Robbie and Christy and their father Curt; and Roberta (Shane) and their children Cole, Kaleb and Kieanna; brothers, Reggie (Leona), Bunny (Eleanor) and Tom (Barb) sister Margie; brother-in-law Lefty Goodbrandson; sister-in-law Elenore Waterman; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bob was born and raised in Selkirk. He was employed at Abex and MRM. In 1969 he began his career at Mandak Metals as a crane operator, retiring in 1990 as Plant Superintendant. In 1989 he successfully fulfilled his dream of owning and operating his own business, R&M Equipment which continues to thrive to this day. As of 2000 due to ill health, he was unable to operate R&M on his own. He enjoyed hunting, especially the annual Waterman Thanksgiving day hunt, the odd fishing trip and trips with his brothers to the Casinos. Above all he enjoyed his grandchildren the most. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 6 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Peter Cain officiating. A private interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing can make a donation to the Childrens Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3J2 or a charity of choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
