MAURICE COLEMAN "COLIN" MACKIN On Tuesday, July 30, 2002 Colin Mackin passed away at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 62 years. Colin was predeceased by his father Vincent; brothers, James and Patrick; and sister Mary Ellen. Colin leaves to mourn his five sons, Blair, Brent, Devan, Randy and Ryan; his wife Donna. He also leaves his mother Margaret; brothers, Vincent (Rose), Desmond (Elish) and sister Carmel (Sean) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was born in Ireland and came to Canada in 1960. He worked mainly as a crane operator, before starting his own business in 1971. He operated Shamrock Lawns for more than 25 years. Through his kindness and sense of humour, he made many good friends who will miss him as will his family. A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, August 6 at 5:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Colins memory to a charity of ones choice.
