THOMAS "FRED" MARSH June 9, 1913 - August 1, 2002 Peacefully on Thursday, August 1, 2002, Fred passed away at the Poseidon Care Centre at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Grace Marsh (nee Carlow) and their infant son Frederick; his second wife Justina Marsh (nee Schultz-Lamey) five brothers, Harry, Joseph, Albert, Frank and Jack; one sister Blanche. Fred is survived by one son Andy (Nancy) two daughters, Shirley (Roland) Arbez, Mary Jensen and Ross Jensen; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Poseidon Care Centre for the loving care they provided for our Dad. A memorial service will take place on Monday, August 5 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St., at 10:30 a.m. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date in the Steinbach Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Freds name to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
