HELEN CLARA STEFANUIK MINKUS (nee KOHINSKI) On Friday, July 19, 2002, passed away at the age of 87 years in Kelowna, BC. Predeceased by her infant son Jackie; granddaughter Cheryl; 14 brothers and sisters; husbands, Joe Minkus and John Stefanuik. Mom will lovingly be remembered by her one surviving sister Rose; by sons, Arnold (Bonnie), Raymond (Martha) daughters, Margaret (Alfred), Stella (Richard) 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mom lived most of her life in Manitoba where she was born. She moved to Kelowna, in 1982, where she took an active role in raising her three grandchildren. Mom was actively involved in the church and worked as a volunteer for many years. We will forever rejoice in our mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers life. In accordance with Moms wishes cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will take place at St. Dominics Roman Catholic Church, 11:00 a.m., August 10, in Neepawa, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
