PETER TKACHUK "BIG PETE" Passed away peacefully on July 4, 2002 with his family at his side at Hotel Dieu Hospital in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Stella (nee Lipischak) loving father of Delores Tkachuk of Kitchener and Eleanor Tkachuk of Garden City, MI; dear brother of John Tkachuk; Marion Murphy, both of Winnipeg, MB and Hanya Tkachuk of St. Catharines; dear brother-in-law of Paul (Rhoda) Lipischak of St. Catharines. Peter was predeceased by his father Wasyl Tkachuk, December 23, 1951 and by his mother Wasylyna Tkachuk, May 17, 1986. Peter will be sadly missed by his family, his nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held, Monday, July 8, conducted by The Hulse and English Funeral Home and Chapel, 75 Church St., St. Catharines. Interred at Lanes Cemetery, St. Anns. Donations to Victorian Order of Nurses or the Red Cross, St. Catharines branch would be appreciated by the family. "Vichnaya PamYat" "Forever Remembered" A donation has been made to the Hulse and English Memorial Forest, a living memorial, toward the Greening of St. Catharines.
