THOMAS (TOM) CHRISP On August 3, 2002 at 9:30 am. at the Selkirk General Hospital, Tom, beloved husband of Audrey, passed away at the age of 73 years. He was surrounded by his wife and family. Tom was born in Pipestone, MB on August 20, 1928. The eldest son of Jack and Carrie Chrisp. Tom is survived by his wife Audrey of 46 years and their children, Linda (Peter) Janzen and their children, Allison and Ryan, Joanne (Nelson) Fulford and their children, Nolan, Ben and Ian, Marlene (Al) Weidman and their children, Josh and Aaron, Shirley (Grant) Greening and their children, Alexandra and Eric, Roger (Patty) Chrisp, Carolyn Chrisp, and Greg (Tanya) Chrisp and their children, Darrin and Kevin; brothers and sisters, Donald (Della) Chrisp, Norma St. Jean, Phyllis (George) Sims, George Chrisp, Gordon (Joyce) Chrisp; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one sister Frances Grosjean. Tom lived and worked on a number of farms in the Scarth District, where he met and married Audrey (Carter), who taught at the Oakview School. They were married on May 12, 1956 and moved to the Petersfield/ Clandeboye area in October of 1962. They have lived on their present farm since July 1964. Tom ceased farming operations in March 2002. He was an active member of the Clandeboye Community Club for 30 years and enjoyed the fellowship of his friends and neighbours at the local coffee shops. He loved listening to old time music. Tom enjoyed his life, his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service in celebration of Toms life will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Georges Anglican Church, Wakefield, with Rev. Canon Godfrey Mawejje officiating. Interment will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lindenschmidt and Dr. Demsas and the entire staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Selkirk General Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined.
