NELLIE (KRUTYSZ) KRUTISH (nee SEMENOWICH) 1906 - 2002 With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of our beloved mother on August 2, 2002. Mom will be reunited in heaven with her husband Frank who predeceased her in 1983. Our mother immigrated to Canada from Poland with her parents at an early age, and the family settled in East Selkirk, MB. She married Frank and they resided in Winnipeg where she raised a family while working in the sewing industry for many years. Mom was admired and respected by everyone she was in contact with. She had an outgoing happy personality with a kind word for everyone. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, cards, reading tea cups, outings with her family for Chinese food, and the breakfasts with her church friends. Mother took great pride in her family and we will always cherish the memories of the many happy evenings enjoying her homemade meals while listening to stories of our early years and her happy life. She was a devout Catholic and worshipped at the Holy Ghost and St. Alphonsus Churches. Mother also taught her children and grandchildren the importance of prayer and faith in God. Mom will always be remembered and loved by her sons, Mike (Adele) and Joe (Lillian) grandchildren, Larry (Ilona), Robert (Cindy), Gary, Karen, Charlene (Jerry), Jason and Bruce; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Danielle and Ryan. Many thanks to the doctors and staff at Concordia Hospital for their compassionate care. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
