Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEULAH BLOUGH February 12, 1913 - August 4, 2002 Peacefully, at the age of 89 years, Beulah Blough (nee Gunn), passed away on August 4, 2002, at the Charleswood Care Centre. "Boo" is survived by her daughter Sharon (Kilborn) sister Irene Storey; nieces and nephews, Delmar Bamford and wife Iris, Velma Clayton, Wanda Ivey, Gary Storey and wife Bev, Dorynne Park and husband Tom, Bob Bamford and wife Sue; as well as many great-nieces and nephews, and scores of friends. She was predeceased by her husband Garfield; sisters, Myrtle, Florence and Ella; and brothers, Jared, Cecil and Bert. Beulah was born in Foxwarren, MB on February 12, 1913, and was educated there. She later moved to Arden, MB, where she met and married Gar, and they headed north for a few years. Gar worked on a cat-train and construction crew, and Beulah was the cook. Later, they settled in Flin Flon, MB - the spot dearest to Boos heart. In Flin Flon, she worked in various retail locations, and at the time of her retirement was the best "record" lady to all her music-loving customers. The cabin at Denare Beach was her favorite place, and many happy hours were spent over card games and visits with any who dropped in. After Gars death, Boo moved to Winnipeg, where she lived several years at 66 Killarney, surrounded by many dear friends. Every summer, as long as she was able, she loaded up her trusty Nova, and she and the dog headed back north to the cabin, where she would stay until fall. Beulah later moved to Kiwanis Courts, and then to Charleswood Care Centre when her health made that necessary. We would like to thank all the staff at Charleswood Care Centre for their wonderful support and caring, and the emergency staff at Grace General Hospital for all their efforts during Beulahs stays there over the last year. Cremation has already taken place, and a memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. If family and friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Beulahs name to the Heart and Lung Association, or any worthy charity of their choice. We love you and will always miss you, Boo. " .. asleep in the arms of the Lord " Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
