Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTORIA LORRAINE MEYERS (nee GRADWELL) July 10, 1942 - August 3, 2002 It is with deep sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of mom. Born July 10, 1942 at Hamiota, MB, Gods missing angel was found peacefully on August 3, 2002 in Regina, SK, at the tender age of 60 years. Mom was a most beautiful person, inside and out, her beauty was her laughter and her love of life. Mom is the eldest of four children born to Alfred and Vera Gradwell of Shilo, MB. She worked for the sheriffs department in Winnipeg from 1977 until her retirement in May 2000, at which time she then enjoyed much travelling, various sporting events like Blue Jays baseball, the Molson Indy, the Brickyard 400 and Toronto Raptors basketball. Predeceased by her dad Alfred in 1984; and by her dear, dear mom, Vera in February 2000. Loris life will continue to shine and be celebrated through her four children, Cori (John) of Edmonton, Darren (Nikki) of Toronto, Derrek (Lynnette) of Regina, and Troy of Winnipeg. Mom cherished her four grand-children, Dawn, J.T., Brandon, and Kristina, and was excited about becoming a first-time great-grandmother in September. Moms sister Tudie (Walter) and two brothers, Jim (Cathy), and Sam (Linda), all of Shilo, will forever hold their sister in their hearts. She was "Aunt Lorraine" to Angella, Steven, Wayne, Bobby, Fara and Brent; as well as many more relatives that will miss her mischievous smile, her joy and zest for life. Funeral arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel in Regina, with the memorial service and celebration of moms life which took place on Monday, August 5, in Brandon, MB. A special thank you to the many wonderful friends, family and doctors for making moms journey to Gods home a peaceful and dignified one. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, a donation in Loris memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 2nd Ave., Regina, SK S4R 1A6, would be most appreciated by the family.
