HEATHER DAWN BAILEY Peacefully on July 31, 2002, Heather Dawn Bailey, 58 years, passed away. She leaves to mourn her beloved daughters, Shelagh (Kerry) Friesen of Edmonton AB and Tracey Brownie of New Westminster, BC; sister Michelle Reid of Winnipeg; her grandchildren, Justin, Braeden and Sydney; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her father Ringland and mother Bernadine Reid. Heather was born on October 5, 1943 in Winnipeg, MB and had attended George V and Gordon Bell High Schools. She also resided in Saskatoon, Edmonton and Vancouver. Her fondest memories were of the many happy and memorable summers she spent camping in Beausejour at Brokenhead River Park. In the past, she was a member of Prince Edward Legion No. 81 enjoying the company of her fellow comrades and, had assisted in various committees. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Darcy Johnson and the nurses and homecare staff who attended to Heathers care while her health was failing. Also to the neighbours who so unselfishly lent their support in a time of need. A very special hug to "Uncle" Bill and "Auntie" Sharon for being there when needed. There will be no funeral at Heathers request and cremation has already taken place. She will be laid to rest in the family plot at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, please make a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of ones choice.
