Doug will be lovingly remembered by his children, Steven, Gary and Daddys Little Girl, Christine; the mother of his children Jo-Ann; brothers, Dave and Ernest as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Doug was predeceased by his father Walter; mother Monda; brother Garry and step-sister Ernett Morrison. Doug was born in Winnipeg on November 12, 1943, he married Jo-Ann, raised his children and spent the remainder of his days in Fort Garry. Doug was a long time and loyal employee of Motor Coach Industries. He will be sadly missed by his co-workers and friends. Besides his passion for his family and children, Doug had a great love for the outdoors and wildlife. He spent many wonderful summers with his brother Dave on numerous fishing trips throughout Manitoba and Lake of the Woods. Another favorite pastime of Dougs was attending and coaching Christines baseball games. She will always cherish the memory of her and her friends piling into Dads "Green Machine" and heading off to a game. We will always remember Dads favorite saying "Make Sure". Dad we know it wasnt easy and that you sacrificed a lot for us. We just want you to know that you are an inspiration to us. We are so proud to be your children. Many thanks to the Paramedics and Winnipeg Police Department, especially Officer K. Bertin.
