HERMUNDUR VALDIMAR JONASSON March 9, 1922 - August 6, 2002 With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father and afi, Hermundur Jonasson, at the Arborg and District Hospital Palliative Care Unit, at the age of 80 years. Dad will be forever remembered and loved by his children, daughters, Sharon (Larry) Karatchuk of Thompson, Val (John) Bergen of Neepawa, Heather (Rick) Pauls of Winnipeg, Sandra of Geysir; and son Jeff of Geysir; his grandchildren, Glenn (Amy), Amanda (Justin), Jason, Shawn, Larissa and Tyler. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church, Arborg; Rev. Otto Christensen officiating. Interment will follow at the Geysir cemetery. MacKenzie (Arborg) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
