Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) EDWIN CRAWFORD Peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2002 at the Deer Lodge Centre, William (Bill) Edwin Crawford passed away at the age of 84 years, dearly beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn Matilda Crawford. Bill was a Second World War veteran. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Darlene (Brian) Verheaghe, grandsons, David and Jordan; his son Reg (Carol) and granddaughter Val Linda, and great-grandson Alexander. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Gwendolyn Matilda (nee Hunt) both his parents; brothers, Henry, Jim and Glen; and sister Myrtle. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m., at Knysh Funeal Chapel, 1020 Main St., with Rev. Jeff Cook officiating. Interment will follow at St. Vital Cemetery, 236 River Rd., St. Vital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bills memory may be made to the St. Amant Centre, in care of Recreation Department, 440 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 3Z9. The family would like to extend their special thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff of "Tower 7" at the Deer Lodge Centre for all their care and compassion extended to Bill and his family.
