JOAN ELAINE PARKS In loving memory of Joan Elaine Parks, aged 67 years, who died in the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Hospital on Tuesday, August 6, 2002. Joan is survived by her loving husband Alvin; her children, Karen Imrie, Kim Desmeules, Ron Parks, Shari Gawley and Colleen Parks; by 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her sisters, Wilma Thordason, Connie Truthwaite, Judith McKay; brother David Conrod; as well as numerous other relatives. Funeral services for Joan Parks will be held Friday, August 9, at 2:00 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church in Red Lake, with Pastor Brian Falkenholt officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service and interment of ashes will take place at a later time. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time in Christ Lutheran Church. Should friends desire, donations to the Lung Association may be made through the Stevens Funeral Homes "Red Lake Chapel", P.O. Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
