FLORENCE (MINACHE) PILLAY After a short illness on Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at the Riverview Health Centre, with her family at her side, Florence (Minache) Pillay passed away at the age of 63 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jean (Paul), John (Elisa), Joan (Joe), Janet (Vishnu), Juliet (Sam) and grandchildren, Joseph, Jane, Jess-Lyn, Joshua, Joel, Jordan, and Jeremy. Mom was a very hard worker, raising the children and grandchildren and always there to support them in their time of need. She attended the Church of The Open Door regularly and will be greatly missed by the congregation. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (tonight), August 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of The Open Door, 137 Euclid Ave., (viewing 1 hour prior to the service at the church) with Pastor Tim Hooper officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Guyana. In lieu of flowers, donations in Minaches memory may be made to the Church of The Open Door, 137 Euclid Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2W 2W8.
