WILLIAM SIMPSON Peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2002, William Simpson passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Gwen; and left to cherish his memory are his daughter Carol Ann; son Robert; grandchildren, Paul and Stephanie; and special family friend Penny. He also leaves his sister Audrey. Dad was a devoted life member of the Duke of Kent Legion (No. 119). Following his service in the Second World War for the Royal Canadian Navy, he was a letter carrier for Canada Post for 40 years. He was known for his great sense of humour and zest for life. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Cremation has taken place, at Dads request. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dads memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
