ELIZABETH ANNA SHEPHERD November 20, 1913 - August 8, 2002 With her daughters by her side, Elizabeth passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years at Sunnywood Manor, Pine Falls, MB on Thursday, August 8, 2002. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her children, David Shepherd (Shirley), Gordon Shepherd, Arlene Kozlowski (Jim), Kathy Campbell (Bob) grandchildren, Missy Blayne (Kathe), Kyle (Joanne), Todd (Karen), Dayna (Dan), Darryl (Allison), Darryn (Michelle), Daryla (Ryan) great-grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew, Eric and Kaitlyn. Elizabeth was born in Germany and spent part of her childhood in South Africa. Careers in her youth included teaching and hairdressing and she enjoyed sketching and painting. She married and resided, for most of her life, in Bissett, MB. Her twilight years were spent at Sunnywood Manor with staff and residents who became her extended family. A special thanks to the staff at Sunnywood Manor for their excellent care and compassion shown to Elizabeth and her family. A memorial service in celebration of her life, will be held on Monday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Advent, Pine Falls, with Rev. Brian Rountree officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunnywood Manor, Pine Falls, MB R0E 1M0.
