Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALCIDE (SID) CLEMENT BOURGEOIS 1920-2002 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alcide at Portage Hospital on Thursday, August 8, 2002, after a short illness at the age of 81 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Alice (Favel) and sons, Marcel (Patricia), Eugene (Teresa) four grandchildren, Michael, Brandy-lynn, Dean and Amber. He is also survived by one sister Rose (Al) Cote; and four brothers, Charles (Blanche), Louie, Edmond (Siomne), Joseph (Margaret) and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by one sister Theresa; two brothers, Gilles and Medric; and his parents, Camellie and Philibert. Alcide was born in Swan Lake and raised in Haywood, MB and lived in Elm Creek, working in and around the community until he retired in town from Post Office mail delivery. Funeral mass will be held from the Elm Creek Catholic Church in Elm Creek, on Tuesday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Edward Kosa O.M.I. officiating. Interment will take place in the Elm Creek Catholic Cemetery. Prayers will be said from the Elm Creek Catholic Church in Elm Creek on Monday, August 12 at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
