Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ADAMSON LeCLAIR May 14, 1923 - August 8, 2002 Peacefully, in the early hours of Thursday, August 8, 2002, and with her family by her side, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother Margaret Adamson LeClair (nee Wilson) went to be with her Lord at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her husband George (Mark) Alfred LeClair; grandsons, Wilfred George McDougall and Wayne James McDougall; and her son-in-law Michael Charles Alfred Lawrence. Margaret was also predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Jean Wilson; her brothers, Jim, Al, George, Andrew; and her sisters, Flo and Betty. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her sister and friend Shirley Raymond of Edmonton, AB. Mom will be so greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Jean, Bess (Wilf), Joe (Anne), Judy (Butchie), MaryAnn, Darlene (Laurie), Joan (Bill), Al (Diane), Larry (Kim), Mark (Marilyne), and Teresa (Darryl). Nana loved to be surrounded by her family as much as they loved to be around her. She cherished, and always had time for her 31 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Mom was born on May 14, 1923, in Winnipeg, MB. She met Dad at an early age and they were married in 1939. Other than a short period of time when they were stationed in Camp Shilo, MB, with R.C.E.M.E., they resided and raised their family in Winnipeg. Her love of children was evident throughout the years as she cared for many special needs day care children in her home. Even Alzheimers could not diminish her great love for these children whom she remembered and spoke about up to just recently. She was so proud of the awards and acknowledgments given to her for her achievements with these children. She truly was a mother to more than her own. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to her home care workers and to the exceptional nursing staff in the Emergency Department, and on 3N of Grace General Hospital. A special thank you for the kindness and consideration shown to the family by Dr. Gooi in this most difficult time. A celebration of Moms life will be held on Monday, August 12 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with a visitation on Sunday, August 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., also at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be her longtime friend and pastor, Rev. Edwin Wiebe. 23rd Psalm The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. We will always love and miss you Mom.
