MARGE COOPER (SNOWDON)

MARGE COOPER (nee SNOWDON) Suddenly, on August 10, 2002, Marge Cooper passed away at the age of 80 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Marge was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Harry Cooper; her parents, Lil and William; and two brothers, George and Tom. Left to cherish Marges memory is her daughter Linda (Ron) Greenwood with Heather and Daniel; son Ken (Lael) Cooper with Tiffany (Rich) and Kyla. Marge also leaves to mourn three sisters, Eve (John) Poole, Joyce (Jack) Hunter, Lil (Stan) Pownall; and one brother Bill Snowdon. Marge was born and lived in East Kildonan all her life. She was a devoted mother and loving wife. Marge enjoyed many summers at the family cottage in Ponemah and, in later years, looked forward to going to Grand Marais with Eve and John. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Middlechurch Home for their care and kindness. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to a reception following the service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
