Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHYLLIS (WILLOW) HILDA DUCHARME Suddenly on Friday, August 9, 2002, at her residence in Winnipeg, MB, Phyllis Ducharme of Winnipeg, and formerly of St. Ambroise, MB passed away at the age of 60 years. Friends may call at the funeral home for visitation on Tuesday, August 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Prayers will be held in the St. Ambroise Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Funeral service will be held in the St. Ambroise Roman Catholic Church, St. Ambroise on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Wayne Morrissey officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Ambroise Cemetery. Phyllis was born on August 16, 1941, daughter of the late Phillip and Aldea Ducharme at Portage la Prairie, MB. She was raised and received her education at St. Ambroise. Phyllis worked for Perths Cleaners for many years. She also worked for Al Crystal Cleaners. She was an active member of the St. Ambroise Roman Catholic Church. Her special times in her life were spent with her large family and friends. She really enjoyed fiddling, country music, fishing, camping, hunting, curling and sewing. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Phillip (1975) and Aldea (1999) one brother Edward (1996) and three nephews, Clark Ducharme (1998), Richard Saltise (1980), Jeffrey Saltise (1996) and one brother-in-law Bob Saltise. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her twin daughters, Debra and Brenda; four sons, Terry (Jennifer), Keith, Jamie (Jerry) and Darryl (Jamie). Phyllis also leaves to mourn her 14 grandchildren, Julianna (Eugene), Jeanine, Jason, T.J., Ryan, Clint, Jill, Joey, Ashley, Tisha, Jacob, Carly, Kaily and Sara; and three special goddaughters, Charlene Coleman, Samantha Holben and Julianna Tessier. Phyllis also leaves to mourn her passing her seven brothers, Ralph (Leatrice), Tony (Wilda), Alphonse (Pat), Wallace (Evelyn), Ben (Donna), Richard and Freddie; and seven sisters, Alma (J.C.) Ostendorf, Anita (Leo) Ducharme, Molly Saltise, Claire (Arnold) Holben, Theresa (Carl) St. Goddard, Mary-anne Blanchard and Cathy Ducharme. She will also be sadly missed by her special friend Wayne. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
