CHRISTINE TENA SHALEY (nee WORODEC) Comfortably at Luther Home on August 10, 2002. Christine was predeceased by her beloved husband Stephen, her parents and her sister Stella Huzarski. Christine is survived by her son Robert of Lac du Bonnet; daughter Barbara Bourget and two grandsons, Gordon and Michael of Toronto, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Christine was raised in Winnipeg and during her life was an active participant and President of the Church League of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish and volunteered at the Community Chest, Red Cross and the M.S. Society. She was employed in several fields of endeavour, always working with people, which brought her special joy. Sincere appreciation to Dick, Barb, Pat and Luba for their on-going support. Thank you to her friends who have remained supportive during these difficult years. A heartfelt "Thank You" to all the staff of the Luther Home of Winnipeg. At her request cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made in Christines memory to a charity of choice.
