Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa and Roy Loe, Diane David and Brent Dudeck, Michelle Brown; her grandchildren, Steven and Mandy Loe, Jeffery, Mathew and Joshua Brown, and Nicholas Dudeck all of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her brothers, Ed and wife Joan, Ray and wife Barb, Gord and wife Elliotte; sisters, Eileen and husband John, Theresa along with many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, along with her parents, John and Edna Kelsch; brother John and sister Nora. Betty was born and raised in West Kildonan. She was unselfishly dedicated to St. Anthonys Parish and from the age of 18 on, she was actively involved with the CWL. She started in 1973 as a Parish President and by 1999 had completed a two year term as Provincial President. Mom was outstanding in her faith by living it. She spread the word of the Lord by her behaviour and example. It came easily for her. Family and friends were centre in her life and a friendship made was a friendship for life. How fortunate we all were to have been touched by this beautiful lady of faith. Thanks to staff of St. Boniface Palliative Care, although Mom was only there for a short period of time the care she received made her final days more comfortable. A special thank you for all the support, calls, cards and visits the family has received through these very difficult days. Prayers will be held on Tuesday (tonight), August 13, at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 14, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Ave. with Rev.
