FRANK C. EWCHUK (1926 - 2002) It is with profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our father and grandfather, Frank on August 10, 2002. Dad is survived by and will be dearly missed by his three children, Richard (Karen), Carol (Glen), Greg (Kim) six grandchildren, Kristina, Jared, Grant, Stephanie, Braden, Tanner and Dads dog, Poncho. Also left to mourn his passing are his brother Peter; sisters-in-law, Marie Bazylewicz and Katherine Hooth (Walter) and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Frank was predeceased by his wife Rosalie (1999) brother John and parents, William and Mary. Dad was raised and educated in Winnipeg. He worked briefly for Canada Packers, National Typewriter, and Duffys Taxi. After 40 years of service with CP Rail, he celebrated his retirement in 1986. Dad was a member of Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed and took great pleasure in working at the church bingo every Tuesday. The family extends sincere thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff of the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care for our Dad. Also thank you, to all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers for Dad. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice in Dads memory. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, August 14, at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Services will continue on Thursday, August 15, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe and Watt with Rev. Fr. Darren Kawiuk officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. VICHNAYA PAMYAT CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
