HAROLD JAMES FERGUSON Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2002 at Jocelyn House. Harold was predeceased by his sisters, Freida, Elizabeth, Evelyn; and brother George. Harolds wife of sixty years, Helen went to prepare room in November 1998 and they are once again together forever. Harolds memory will be cherished by son John and his wife Carol and grandchildren, MacKenzie, Johanna, Broderick and Jennifer; and daughter Gayle Susie and her husband Larry and grandchildren, Jason, Lara and Julie. Harold was born and raised in Weston. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and was a career police officer with C.P. Rail. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 15 at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with reception to follow. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the staff and management of Jocelyn house. In lieu of flowers, one can make a donation to a charity of ones choice. When time draws nigh to heed the call, I will pray to God to take my soul, And place it in a sacred place from Whence again it will soar in space, To seek a kindred home.
