Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY SOHAN Peacefully, on Saturday, August 10, 2002, Mary Sohan passed away at the Betel Home of Gimli. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her sons, George (Eva) and Jim (Carol) her grandchildren, Carolyn (Derrick), Brad (Candace), Christine and Darren; great- grandsons, James and Matthew. Mary will be missed by her special niece Rose Bochurka and her cousin Irene (Stan) Bader. Mary was predeceased by her husband John in 1968, also her sister Annie Genik and her brother Mike Antofichuk. Mom was born in Komarno on October 24, 1911. She moved to Winnipeg Beach when she married Dad in 1934. For many years they were the proprietors of Johnnys Red and White and subsequently Johnnys Tomboy. A celebration of Marys life will take place on Thursday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Winnipeg Beach United Church, with Rev. Lynn Stevens officiating. Our sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Betel Home Foundation of Gimli for their excellent care and compassion shown to Mom over the past 11 years.
