Georges first love was the outdoors, he enjoyed raising various livestock and gardening, which is something he returned to in his later years, until his health prohibited him from continuing these passions. George loved his grandchildren immensely. He would always joke around and tease them and in their absence ask of their whereabouts. George was very supportive of his grandchildren, by taking them to powwows and ceremonies. He especially loved listening to the songs, sitting and singing at the drum during ceremonies. George was a man that firmly believed in the teachings of the Anishinaabe people and was an inspiration to his circle. The lives of his family and friends have been enriched through the sharing of his smile, handshake, humour, and love. HAPPY HUNTING!!!
