CARMELO LETTERIO ROMEO Suddenly on August 14, 2002, Carmelo Letterio Romeo passed away at his home. Carmelo was born on June 3, 1928 in Messina, Sicily in Italy. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Guiseppa; his daughters, Maria (Andre) and Roberta (Frank) and dear grandfather of Jonathan, Crystal, Sabrina, and Tiffany. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 17 10:00 a.m. and a viewing at 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., with Rev. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave.
