Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (JACK) DONALD TAYLOR 1916 - 2002 On August 15, 2002, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Jack passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife Isabel; his daughter Lynn (Chris), grandchildren, Cheryl and Greg; great-grandson Shayne of Edmonton; daughter Shirley (Ken), grandchildren, Jason and Mark of Ottawa; brother-in-law Chuck (Georgina) sister-in-law Betty; along with countless nieces, nephews and friends. Jack was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30 and served on the sports committee for many years. He served with the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders and North Nova Scotia Highlanders during the Second World War, landing on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. He was an Air Canada employee for 34 years. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with funeral service on Monday, August 19 at 10:30 a.m., all at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow the service on Monday at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Jacks memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
