MICHAEL BENJAMIN RUCHKALL Suddenly, on August 14, 2002, Michael Ruchkall of Winnipeg passed away at the age of 34 years. Michael is survived by his children, Jennifer and Christopher Ruchkall and their mother, Judy, all of Winnipeg; brother Richard (Monique) Ruchkall of Acme, AB; sister Teresa Ruchkall of Winnipeg; and brother Darren (Gale) Ruchkall of Niverville, MB; nephews, Charlie (Lauren), Ron Ruchkall/Swayze; nieces, Megan and Amanda Ruchkall. He was predeceased by his parents, father Ben (1990) and mother Florence (2000). Michael cherished the special moments with his children and family. He had spent his earlier years in Transcona, and in later years enjoyed life on the farm near Gunton and his adult years residing in Winnipeg. Most of his working years took place at Costco Wholesale. A devotional with viewing will be offered on Monday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20 at 9:30 a.m., also at the chapel, with Pastor Don Amell officiating. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. Special thanks go out to all the helping hands and hearts that did their best to guide and comfort Michael in his times of need. I have been a long time gone... Grieve briefly if you must, but know that I am free. Im following paths God laid for me. The greatest sorrow and heart break be, To say good-bye to my family. God hath not promised sun without rain, Joy without sorrow, peace without pain. But God hath promised strength for the day, Rest for the weary and light for the way.
