Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEINRICH ANDRESEN It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Heinrich Andresen, beloved husband of Eugenie, on Thursday, August 15, 2002 at the age of 90 years. Heinrich was a kindhearted and caring person, always willing to give freely of himself to those who took the time to get to know him. He was born July 21, 1912 in Froerup, Germany. His life journey included two trips around the world on board the German cruiser "Karlsruhe". In 1951 he came to Canada, where he married Eugenie Ratzlaff. Although he suffered stroke-related problems, Heinrich maintained his kind and positive spirit. Grateful for every new day he was allowed to see, Heinrich delighted in telling stories about his journeys around the world, his years in Canada, as well as his younger years to anyone who would take the time to listen. Heinrich will be sadly missed by his wife Eugenie and his many relatives and friends. A celebration of life for Heinrich Andresen will be held on Tuesday, August 20 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, 65 Walnut St., with Pastor Heimo Bachmeyer officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Heinrich may be made to the St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 65 Walnut St., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 1N9.
