CURTIS DAVIDSON McINTOSH It is with great sadness that we announce the accidental death of Curtis Davidson McIntosh, on August 8, 2002 at Manitou, MB. Curtis is survived by his loving wife Julia (Selby) his parents, David and Carol McIntosh; his sister Jennifer (Mathew) Mozdzen; his very special aunt Muriel and uncle Fraser McIntosh and cousins, Blaine and Colin; grandmothers, Jean McIntosh and Beth (Bert) Hall; aunt Sheila (Phil Ireland) McIntosh, Julia and Emily; uncle Rod (Gloria) McLean, Michelle and Christopher, and aunt Linda McLean; uncle Hugh (Mary) McLean, Bradley and Jordan; uncle Robert (Marina) McLean, Don and Lisa; aunt Sheila (Bruce) Wallcraft, Jessica, Scott and Reanne. Curtis also leaves his mother and father-in-law, Larry and Glenda Selby; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Jason) Van Deynze, Tracy (Mark) Sanders, Rose, Greg, Aaron and Cecilia; Elizabeth (Chris) Sprung and Carl; brother-in-law Robert Selby; and grandmother Jacqueline Selby. Curtis was predeceased by his grandfathers, Donald McLean and Jack McIntosh. Curtis was born November 25, 1978 and attended school in Manitou, where he developed many close friendships. This is where he met his future wife Julia, whom he married on July 3, 1999, beginning of the happiest years of his life. Curtis lived for his family and "the farm". He loved nature and animals, and he was very proud to be farming. He took a Diesel Mechanics course at Red River College in 1997. He graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba in 1999. He then returned to the family farm at Manitou to farm with his parents, uncle Fraser, aunt Muriel and cousin Colin. Curtis loved life and took great pleasure in attending family gatherings. He loved children and especially loved to spend time with his nieces, nephews and cousins. His sense of humour, his gentle nature and his ability to entertain, will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral services took place at St. Andrews United Church August 12. If friends desire, they may donate in Curtis memory to the Pembina Manitou Area Foundation Inc., P.O. Box 535, Manitou, MB R0G 1G0.
