CLIFF PATERSON On Tuesday, August 13, 2002, after having suffered a stroke the previous Tuesday, and due to complications with pneumonia, Cliff Paterson quietly passed from this life. Cliff was born November 9, 1925, in Lundar, MB, and spent all of his life in the Lundar, Eriksdale, Deerhorn and Camper areas. Most of Cliffs working days were spent working for various construction companies, operating heavy equipment, building roads, airports, landing strips and clearing land. He became an expert grader operator. He loved hunting and fishing and he passed this love on to his children. He also enjoyed watching from his easy chair the many birds that came to his and Doreens birdfeeders and houses. Left to mourn his passing and grateful for his life are his children, Darlene (Bob) of Edmonton, Gwen (Ted) of Eriksdale, Dwight (Dolly) of Mulvihill, Corrine (Gilbert) of Winnipeg and Ernie of Eriksdale; his sister Doris (Edwin) of Lundar; brother Jim (Irma) of Winnipeg; also his grandchildren, Misty, Vanessa, Jody, Katie, Shauna, Chris, and Dennis who were very close to him; also many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends. Cliff was predeceased by his loving wife Doreen in April of this year; daughter Linda; parents, Josephine and Lorne; sister Peggy; and brother Shortie. It was Cliffs wish to be cremated and no formal service will be held. The family wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital and the Personal Care Home who took such kind care of Clifford in his final days; also to Arnason Funeral Home and staff who took care of the arrangements.
