Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNATHAN SHUCKETT It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Nathan Shuckett on August 15, 2002 at the age of 95. Nathan was born in Pocotilov, Russia, son of Rose and Jacob Shuckett. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law degrees. In addition to his legal career, he had a successful clothing manufacturing business for many years. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, a past member of the Board of Management and past Brotherhood President of the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, where he was a dedicated member. Nathan will be lovingly remembered by his son Donald; daughter-in-law Susan; grand-daughters, Ariel and Alana; brothers, Ben Shuckett, Dr. Morley Shuckett (Sally) sisters, Esther Lecker (Manuel), Fritzi Telpner (Gene) sister-in-law Bert Shuckett; many devoted nieces, nephews and friends. Nathan was predeceased by his dear wife of 65 years, Sally; sister Goldie Genser; and brother Dave Shuckett. Nathan was known and loved by many for his good nature, warmth and zest for life a truly special man. Many thanks are extended to the staff of the Sharon Home with special appreciation to Leo and Helen. A graveside funeral service will be held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, 230 Armstrong on Sunday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be nephews Ron Telpner, John Farber, Richard Shuckett, Dr. Brian Lecker, Dr. Robert Lecker and David Waldman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nathans memory to the Sharon Home or a charity of your choice.
