JEAN DYRKIS It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jean Dyrkis on Saturday, August 17, 2002 at the Grace Hospital. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her son Frank (Brenda), Paul and Jacquie. She will also be missed by her sister Sophie Wachniak of Winnipeg; and sister-in-law Alice Dyrkis. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1972; as well as two brothers and a sister. Jean owned and operated the Sargent Park Grill for 39 years where she enjoyed meeting new people and acquaintances before retiring in 1990. She was also an avid fisherman in her spare time. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 21, at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 847 St. Marys Rd. with Fr. Ron Pasinato officiating. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of I.C.U. and 3rd North at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeans memory to the Grace General Hospital.
