Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH DAMIEN NEAPEW On Wednesday, August 14, 2002, on the Pine Creek First Nation, Kenneth Damien Neapew passed away at the age of 23 years. Kenneth was born on March 25, 1979 in Winnipeg, MB. He received his education in Winnipeg. Following his education, he worked as a landscaper around the area. Kenneth enjoyed skateboarding, playing hockey and watching wrestling. He enjoyed playing guitar and writing songs and poetry with the hopes of someday forming his own band. Kenneth enjoyed drawing and loved the outdoors. Kenneth was a member of the Duncan Area Floor Hockey League. He loved his friends and his family and spent most of his free time visiting and telling jokes with them. Kenneth was predeceased by his grandfather Lloyd Orvis and his great-grandfather Leonard Orvis. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories, his father Robert (Sheila) Nepinak of Pine Creek; his mother Charlotte (Bernard) Neapew of Pine Creek; his brothers, William Neapew of Winnipeg, Richard Neapew of Pine Creek; his sisters, Kelly Neapew of Winnipeg, Leona Contois of Pine Creek; his step-sisters, Dayna Nepinak of Pine Creek, Candace Nepinak of Vancouver, Kirsten Nepinak of Pine Creek, Kristle Nepinak of Winnipeg, Jennifer Nepinak of Pine Creek; his step-brother Robert Nepinak Jr. of Winnipeg; his nieces, Kayla and Kori Neapew of Winnipeg; his nephew and godson Billy-Joe Henderson of Winnipeg; his grandparents, Lenora Orvis of Winnipeg, Jonas (Marie) Nepinak of Pine Creek, Irene Watson of Winnipeg; his great-grandmother Exilia Orvis of Calgary; his godparents, Lenor Nepinak and Wilson Neapew; along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family and many good friends as well as his special friend Nikki. Prayers will be held on Monday, August 19 at 8:00 p.m. in the Pine Creek School Gymnasium with a traditional wake to follow. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m. from the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Camperville, MB. Rev. Fr. Jose Cabral will officiate with the interment to follow in the Camperville Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Parish Cemetery.
