CHRISTINA MARGARET WHITE Peacefully on August 18, 2002, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Mrs. Christina Margaret White passed away at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband George H. White in 1994. Christina was born in Glasgow, Scotland, June 13, 1907. She immigrated to Canada in July of 1929. She worked at Ravenscourt School. Christina married George H. White on April 9, 1931. She worked for Eatons during the Second World War, and also at St. Paul Insurance Company. She was a member of Masonic Mixed Bowling for forty years. She leaves to mourn three daughters, Frances (John) of Coquitlam, BC, Kathleen (Ernie) of Red Deer, AB and Georgina (Bob) of Sydney, Australia; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; nephews, Reg (Marg) Stephenson, Larry (Janette) Stephenson, and Matthew and Jared Stephenson; niece Margaret (Ray) Karmaznuk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 21 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
