JULIA (JULIE) MARSHALL It is with great sorrow and grief we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend on Thursday, August 15, 2002. Julie was born in BoNess, Scotland on June 14, 1914 and immigrated to Canada in 1973 to be with her family. She loved her family. Julie was predeceased by her husband, Jim in October, 2001. She will always be remembered and loved by her daughters, Jill (Dick) and Jennifer (Syd) grandson Scott; granddaughters, Jennifer and Kelly (Steve) and Jaime; great-granddaughters, Morgan and Fiona, and by Janet Gillies whom Julie regarded as a third daughter. Mum also would have thanked her many friends and often expressed how fortunate she was to have them in her life. "The world is a better place for your being in it. We miss you so much." Memorial service will be held at the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada, Unit 283, 3584 Portage Ave., on Friday, August 23 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
